INTERIOR DESIGN
This is the redesign that I came up with for the first floor of Webb Hall at UWA. In my opinion, this space is in desperate need of a reception desk so students, parents, or visitors who are unfamiliar with the building can locate the exact person or office they are looking for.
This is a 20×20 design that I created in a design studio class. You can see the entire process from sketches on graph paper to the color and texture finish. I took elements from modern homes to create a look that was “trending” but I still wanted to incorporate the homey feel in this model.
The floorplans above are two different layouts I created for a remodel of a professor’s home in Livingston. This particular room in her home is very open, and she did not know where to place her furniture without the pieces looking “scattered” or “junky”.
